History 

1949
Foundation by Herbert Olbrich and Werner Borgers.

1954
Surface-type printing lines for the wallpaper industry become a great success.

1956
Olbrich supplies the first production line for foamed PVC-artificial leather.

1976
The first line for the production of 4 m wide PVC-floor covering in the world is developed, built and supplied by Olbrich.

1980
The company extends its activities and becomes involved in the construction of moulds and tools.

1990
Olbrich expands its involvement in the automotive industry and makes its mark as a system supplier. 

1998
A branch is founded in Holoubkov in the Czech Republic - Olbrich CZ.

2003
The first line for the production of 5 m wide PVC-floor covering in the world is developed, built and supplied by Olbrich.

2008
Buy-out of R+S Technik GmbH and Schreiner Formen- und Modellbau GmbH & Co. KG.
New foundation of R+S Technik GmbH as a subsidiary of Herbert Olbrich GmbH & Co. KG.

2009
60th anniversary of the company
